Volunteer power is the engine of Survivors Empowered. As gun violence challenges grow, we are expanding our programs for survivors. We could use your help now!
We’re enlisting volunteer team members for multiple expanding programs. Some volunteer positions require periodic help, while others need attention all year long.
Coordinator of Volunteers. Help us locate and coordinate our volunteers for all our teams. This is an ongoing effort that would be really fun to do with a friend!
Retreat Coordination Team. Survivors Empowered is very pleased to have two successful retreats under our belt. We already have the retreat planning in place. All we need is a few volunteers to help two or three times a year to coordinate the retreats.
Rapid Response Team. These volunteers are trained by Survivors Empowered to travel to sites after a mass shooting to provide comfort to the survivors as well as help them navigate through the immediate aftermath of a shooting.
Art Auction Team. Great artists have donated their personal artwork to Survivors Empowered for a fundraising auction. Are you interested in art? Are you in the Denver area? Do you have connections to further expand our group of generous artists? This one-time-only event is calling out for you! The art auction will be hosted online and possibly in person. What do you think?
Fundraising Team. Like all nonprofits, fundraising is a nonstop concern. We are not funded by large organizations but by the generosity of donors just like you. Are you interested in grant writing? Increasing our online donations? Helping us expand our outreach and database? We need you!
