Among the many choices for would-be killers, hospitals are a particularly vulnerable target.

That’s why Survivors Empowered is advocating for regulations to eliminate guns in hospitals.

A similar initiative is being pursued by the hospitality industry, requiring gun owners to secure their weapons in a hotel gun safe upon entry. While these efforts can only do so much, they’re a significant start.

Even one less shooting is a victory.

As these and similar efforts take hold, pressure continues to mount on legislative bodies, as well as gun advocacy organizations themselves, to help rein in reckless slaughtering of innocent people.
